Check your eligibility before booking
Driver age: 25–65. Bring a valid driver’s licence held for at least two years. If you are not a Saint Lucian resident, bring a valid international driving permit or arrange a local Saint Lucia temporary permit. Permit assistance is available for an additional fee.
Basic insurance and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) are included. An excess and exclusions apply; confirm the details for your vehicle before booking.
Full-to-full fuel policy: collect the vehicle with a full tank and return it full. Review and sign the rental contract when collecting your vehicle.

What to bring, permit assistance and arranging your dates.
What should I bring to collection?
Bring your valid driver’s licence, held for at least two years, a government-issued photo ID (passport or driver’s licence), and your booking details. Non-residents must also have a valid international driving permit or arrange a local Saint Lucia temporary permit. You will review and sign the rental contract at collection. Only authorised drivers named on the agreement may drive the vehicle.
Can EliteWay help with a driving permit?
Permit assistance is available on request for an additional fee. Contact the team before arrival to confirm the documents, process and charge for your circumstances.
Can I rent for fewer than three days?
Yes. EliteWay accepts rentals shorter than three days. Review the current vehicle listings and contact the team to confirm your requested dates and arrangements.
How do I book a rental longer than three days?
Contact EliteWay for a custom quote and availability confirmation. Include your start and return dates, preferred vehicle, passenger count and collection location. For current vehicle information, use the existing rental listings.
02 / DURING YOUR RENTAL
Insurance, fuel & returns
Understand cover, fuel, returns and booking changes.
Is insurance included in the rental?
Basic insurance and CDW are included. CDW does not remove every responsibility: an excess and exclusions apply under the rental agreement. Ask the team to confirm the excess and explain the cover for your booking; do not assume zero-excess or all-inclusive protection.
What does full-to-full mean?
You collect the rental with a full fuel tank and return it full. Check and record the fuel level with the team at collection, and follow the return arrangements in your rental agreement.
Where and when should I return the car?
Agree the return location and time with EliteWay when arranging your rental. For an airport return, allow time for the handover and your airline’s check-in requirements.
What if I need to cancel or change my rental?
Contact EliteWay promptly with your booking reference and requested change. The Cancellation & Refund Policy sets out the notice periods and refund rules to follow. Ask the team to confirm the conditions applicable to your booking in writing.

Can I collect a rental at Hewanorra Airport (UVF)?
UVF delivery is available for an additional charge. Confirm the charge, meeting point, collection time and return arrangements before travelling.
Can I arrange collection or delivery in Rodney Bay?
Yes. Rodney Bay customers can arrange collection or delivery. Send your accommodation location, dates and preferred times to agree the details and any applicable charges.
Are the BMW and seven-seater available for self-drive?
No. The BMW and seven-seater are for transfers with a driver. For self-drive, compare the cars and SUVs in the rental fleet and check passenger capacity and luggage space before choosing.
